Not prepared.

Orin is in for a rude awakening when his little brother Alton is born toward the end of June or beginning of July. [Did I happen to mention that? Meadow is having another boy. His name is Alton. He has a nose.] He is a hardcore Mama’s boy, and I am not sure whether they should begin inquiring regarding therapy or medication or exportation.

He wants string cheese at odd hours and asks if the nearest-by adult might string it for him. Stringed-string cheese.

He wants his Mama, but if I can get him outside and five minutes down the sidewalk, he calls for me, ahead, and reaches for my hand when I catch up.

He is magical at two-and-a-half.
he is going to be the most gorgeous man, I swear. I love that last one. SO cute.

You asked re: Baby E’s high chair cover. I found the fabric at JoAnn’s and thought it would make a charming apron. I pleaded with my mother to make me the apron, which she obligingly did, and she also made two high chair covers too! They all turned out great. The high chair has an ugly vinyl seat, so I am much happier covering it with cheerful apples & pears.
